Identify and prioritize strategies for promoting tourism and hospitality businesses in post- COVID-19

Abstract

Given the importance of promoting tourism businesses as one of the most affected economic sectors due to the Coronavirus pandemic crisis worldwide, The present study was designed and conducted to identify and prioritize strategies to promote tourism and hospitality businesses in Post- COVID-19. The results of data analysis in this mixed study show that the strategies for promoting tourism and hospitality businesses in Post- COVID-19can be considered in 4 main strategies and 17 sub- strategies. The results also show that these strategies are important in terms of executive strategies, marketing strategies, support strategies and human resources strategies, respectively.
The results can provide practical guidance for managers, activists and planners of the tourism industry in the public and private sectors. In this regard, managers and policy makers of the tourism industry in the public and private sectors are recommended to Considering strategies priorities provided in this research when planning to upgrade and rehabilitate activities and processes in the tourism and hospitality industry.
